Before jumping into the colour recipe, do make sure you watch the video to see how these are made! I'll be writing a little bit about how I made each item in case the video isn't clear enough to help you through the process a bit better 😊
Note that the brand of polymer clay I use for everything is Premo, including translucent clay.

Here's a little backstory for Tonkatsu! 😊
"Tonkatsu (とんかつ) is that leftover piece of pork cutlet; an accident. He is 1% meat and 99% fat. His pink nose is that 1% of meat. He is greasy and oily… and is always left behind on the plate because of his fat content. His friends often help to put soy sauce on him to make him look more appetising. He also loves to hide behind the soy sauce bottle on the table."
I researched Tempura properly too, and omg boy is his name long!
"Ebifurai no shippo (えびふらいのしっぽ) is its full name, and he's the tail of Ebi Tempura. (That's the little "ribbon" on his head, it's actually shrimp tail!) He is always left behind with a little bit of meat. Ebifurai no Shippo and Tonkatsu are best friends because they understand each other very well."
Now you know a bit about Tonkatsu, let's get on with making them woohoo!

Cut a big rectangle that will fit all the figurines (you can use scrap clay for this, but make sure the bottom is white),
use liquid clay and attach a metal piece that can be magnetised (test it first!)
Wrap LIGHT YELLOW around the metal piece and cover the sides. Blend the ends at the bottom.
For the wall, make sure it fits the side of the base, and it's taller than Shirokuma.
