Before jumping into the colour recipe, do make sure you watch the video to see how these are made! I'll be writing a little bit about how I made each item in case the video isn't clear enough to help you through the process a bit better 😊
Note that the brand of polymer clay I use for everything is Premo, including translucent clay.

Here's a little backstory for Neko! 😊
"Neko (ねこ) is a timid, socially anxious, humble, (and not to mention, very chubby) calico cat. She often gives the corner away to other Sumikkos because of its personality. She feels safe when it is snugly covered, like in a pouch or under an empty cat food can. She often sharpen her claws on the walls of the corner. Her favourite food is rice balls, as well as cat grass, canned cat food, and fish. She does not like mandarins because it mistakes its sour smell as a sign of rotting. She has a wallet, and is the treasurer of the group."
I love how the purse has a significance, and there's even a treasurer in the group hahaha!! 🤣💕
Btw, ねこくさ literally means cat grass, so those are cat grass HOW CUTE SHE EATS THEM 😆
Even Zassou got her own story!
"Zassou (ざっそう) is a shrub of grass that has big dreams and a positive attitude beside an unrelenting spirit for success. Her dream is to be part in a wedding bouquet at an important party one day. Because Neko waters her and chews her often, it is the closest with her."
Now you know a bit about Neko, let's get on with making them woohoo!

MAGNETIC BASE AND WALL
Cut a big rectangle that will fit all the figurines (you can use scrap clay for this, but make sure the bottom is white),
use liquid clay and attach a metal piece that can be magnetised (test it first!)
Wrap LIGHT YELLOW around the metal piece and cover the sides. Blend the ends at the bottom.
For the wall, make sure it fits the side of the base, and it's taller than Shirokuma.
